Pasamos un tiempo espectacular en Las Terrenas, y para qué decir en « La Tortuga » … Encantados de haberos conocido y disfrutado de tantos momentos, de forma tan simple y natural….
Esperamos veros pronto con un buen Carmenere y ¿otro Risotto ?

La Tortuga is a very cool, very tranquilo little bed and breakfast in Las Terrenas (located on the Samaná peninsula).
The owners, a nice Spanish couple named Ana and Pello, are very down-to-earth, and will help you out with anything you need on the peninsula.
They printed us out a map, described which beaches were best for swimming, told us the best places to eat, rent equipment, etc.
The bed and breakfast itself has lovely loft-style rooms that are suitable for couples or groups (up to 4 per room). It is beautifully landscaped and has a swimming pool and cafe on the grounds. Breakfast is included with your stay, but you can opt for more food and drink options if you like. Ana and Pello are very flexible and will work with you and your vacation plans !
All in all, La Tortuga is a very pleasant and satisfying place to stay. I definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the Dominican Republic. Sara Taylor 16/09/09
